Due to the culmination of the RTD project of the 5th Framework Programme, Workaló, The creation of new occupational patterns for cultural minorities: the gypsy case (2001-2004), of the European Commission, we invite you to a conference that will take place in the Eastman building in Brussels.

The objective of the event is to present the main results obtained in the three years of research, as well as to make proposals for the future aimed at defining strategies for the inclusion of cultural minorities in situations of social inclusion in general, and the Romani Community in particular. This implies lines of action oriented towards social and economic development that allows for greater European social cohesion.

These actions can be found in one of the most important reports of the project: A guide of effective proposals in the educational, economic, political and social fields that assure the social inclusion of the Romani Community in Europe. This guide is targeted towards political representatives and administrations, as well as Roma associations and people.
